Salim is the Group’s UAE Country Manager for Merchant Services – Acquiring MENA, responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic growth of merchant acquiring services across the UAE.
An experienced financial professional with over 25 years in payments, cards, and banking, including 15 years in leadership roles across the GCC, Salim has worked with major Middle Eastern banks and financial institutions, covering card issuing, acquiring, processing, and fintech agency banking and micro-lending. He has facilitated mergers and acquisitions and pre-IPO global equity partnership investments.
Salim is a firm believer in the transformational power of fintech for businesses and consumers, including the democratization of payments and financial inclusion via digital simplification.
